Below are our most common questions from our customers. If you don’t see your question here, please contact us.

Alurell Products

Where are your products made?

All of our products are manufactured in an FDA registered and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified facility in the USA.

How does Alurell ensure product safety?
Safety, quality, and potency are our top concerns. Each Alurell product is sent to an independent lab for extensive screening that verifies the cannabinoid and terpene profile, confirms potency, and checks for pesticides, microbial impurities, and residual solvents. You can verify the purity of all our CBD products by reviewing our Certificate of Analysis (COA) on each product page.
Are your products independently tested by a third-party?
Yes, we use third party, independent laboratories to test all products, and we provide a Certificate of Analysis for every product – letting you know exactly what’s in our products.
Where can I view a Certificate of Analysis for your products?
A Certificate of Analysis for each product can be viewed on each product page, because we want you to have peace of mind knowing you can see exactly what’s in our products before you give them to your pet.
What is the shelf life of your products?
All of our products have expiration dates printed on them to ensure maximum potency.
How should I store CBD oil?
In order to preserve maximum effectiveness, we recommend storing it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Is Alurell pet CBD oil safe for humans?
Yes, our CBD oil is human-grade. However due to liability reasons, we do not recommend our pet CBD oils for human consumption.

CBD and Your Pet

Is CBD oil safe for pets?

CBD is 100% safe for your pet. There are no reports of overdoses or adverse responses for people or pets in hemp’s long history. In addition to the plant’s safety, we are always looking out for our consumers’ protection. All products go through accurate and thorough screenings to verify the potency and purity of every product.

Will CBD oil get my pet high?
No! You’ll have the peace of mind knowing that all THC – the compound that causes a high in cannabis – has been removed from our CBD oil. You can verify our products are THC-free by reviewing the third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) on the product page.
Does your product contain any marijuana or THC?
No! We only extract CBD from hemp plants, and all traces of THC are removed from our products.
How much CBD should I give my pet?
For relieving anxiety or calming your pet, CBD dosage isn’t straight-forward. We recommend starting with the lowest recommendation and increasing until you find what works best for your pet (you will not overdose your pet, but the less you have to use the better as a general rule). For a general guideline, check the dosing chart below:

  • Under 10 lbs: 1-2 drops
  • 10-30 lbs: 2-3 drops
  • 30-50 lbs: 3-5 drops
  • Over 50 lbs: 5-10 drops

What’s the best way to give my pet CBD oil?
The dose is small, and it’s easy to give with a medicine dropper. If your pet doesn’t like the taste, there’s an easy way to fix that. You can easily mix the oil with their favorite meal or treat. For example, it’s simple to combine CBD oil with peanut butter for the perfect undercover surprise.
How long does CBD oil work for pets?
The length of time the oil stays in your pet’s system is about four to six hours, but this can vary by weight and potency. Similar to humans, CBD’s onset and duration varies by person.
Can I give CBD oil to my pet for anxiety?
Yes. Many consumers use CBD products to induce calm and reduce anxious feelings. Start with a low dose and slowly increase until you find the right amount that helps with stress-inducing situations, such as new people, fireworks, and thunder. It can also be beneficial for fussy travelers, separation anxiety, and sleeping issues due to environmental stress (like being in a strange place on vacation).
Will CBD oil help my pet’s arthritis?
One reason consumers use CBD is to promote joint health. A daily dose combined with regular exercise and maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce inflammation.
Will CBD interact with my pet’s current medications?
We recommend consulting with your vet prior to using any supplements, including CBD.
Is it legal to give my pet CBD?
Yes! The 2018 Hemp Bill legalized hemp cultivation and the sale of all hemp extracts in the USA. Our products are THC-free, making them 100% legal in all 50 states.
What are the side effects of CBD for pets?

CBD is non-psychoactive and shouldn’t cause any significant adverse reactions for your pet. However, like all products, they may cause mild side effects for some animals. The American Kennel Club reports dry mouth from the decrease in saliva production, a temporary drop in blood pressure, and drowsiness in high doses. You can reduce these issues with smaller serving sizes.

What should I do if I accidentally give my pet too much CBD?
Don’t worry! CBD products are completely safe for your furry family member. If they ingest too much, they may sleep a little longer than average. But there are no reports of overdoses or dangerous reactions with pets or people in hemp’s long, extensive history.
